FIRST YEAR

 

A year of comprehending,  identifying, and applying formal concepts into abstract designs. Terms used include axis, grids, rhythm, movement, analogous elements, spacial sequence, and the differentiation between solid and void, light and shadow, and positive and negative spaces. 

 

Projects include:

  • Vertical Construct

  • Le Corbusier Study: Villa Savoye

  • Dwelling

SECOND YEAR

 

A year of collaboration, which transitioned into individual projects. Projects focused on master planning, taking into consideration the surrounding environments and buildings when designing, as well as integrating structure, sustainability, and materiality.

 

Projects include:

  • Corner Row House

  • Winter Street Master Plan

  •  Infill Row House

  • UCHS Master Plan

  • Center for the Performing Arts
